Actually, this is my first rodeo.

Hey Everybody!

.

The Frisco Art Gallery is hosting a Q & A with some of the artists from their current show, “Pieces of Eight,” on May 23rd at 5pm. I’ve had the pleasure of being included in the show alongside some of my incredibly talented peers.

So yes! I will be there rambling about science and physics and religion (have I told you how much I love science? and physics? and religion? and hearing my own voice?)  and other things I make work about. Stop by if you’re in the area and you have a chance.

Outside the youth center, between the liquor store
and the police station,
a little dogwood tree is losing its mind;

overflowing with blossomfoam,
like a sudsy mug of beer;
like a bride ripping off her clothes,

dropping snow white petals to the ground in clouds,

so Nature’s wastefulness seems quietly obscene.
It’s been doing that all week:
making beauty,
and throwing it away,
and making more.
